Turkish manti ritual is hidden between walls of women gathering together under one roof.
Flour which bread is produced from is highly regarded as a holy product in Turkish culture as it denotes basic food to survive.
In some cultures food is played for personal satisfaction of some sort such as Japanese playing with egg to seduce each other. Turkish culture totally rejects the idea of playing with food. It can only be used for eating, otherwise it is ,,haram“- a sin.
Dough house represents Turkish women living in a bubble producing turkish manti. I, as a Turkish, put dough in another context than eating it- I comitted a sin.
